She was born and raised in the "small" town of Brighton, Colorado to Dan and Karen Smidt. She grew up with running, horses, and creativity. From a very young age, Aby wanted to become an actress, but also loved writing. While she was growing up she watched plays and movies and wanted so badly to be the actresses starring in them. Along with loving the acting world, Aby loved writing stories and performing them with her friends. She is a proud student athlete at Metropolitan State University of Denver studying creative writing and rhetoric. At the age of 20 she was given the chance to become an actress, while continuing her studies of writing. Running, writing, and acting are what she focuses on in life. Hide
