Katalina is an American-born, bilingual actress with Dominican heritage. She grew up in Miami, Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a minor in psychology from Florida International University. There, she was co-editor for the online magazine "The Miami Desk." She is a published writer whose articles have appeared in the Miami Herald and the former. She has interviewed acclaimed artists Erni Vales and Stephen Gamson, Miami-Dade School board member Raquel Regalado, as well as several Grammy-winning musicians like Emilio Estefan, Tommy Anthony (of the band Santana) and other members of the Miami Sound Machine. In 2012, only two weeks after graduation, Katalina moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. Hide
