Matt Kutcher started Spectrum FX in 1993, and has established the brand as being a leader in the film and television industry, with resources to facilitate production worldwide.Spectrum FX, has been recognized with awards and nominations from Visual Effects Society, Motion Picture Academy, Television Academy, Online Film and Television Association, and the International Press Academy. Spectrum has become the "go to" resource for projects involving complex mechanical effects, extreme environments, and challenging action sequences, regardless of location.Spectrum FX has become as much a production company as it is a special effects company. With the addition of Donnie Dean, John Bush, Ty Abrahams, Justin Johnson, and Matt's sons Matthew and Zackary, the volume of quality work this team is able to facilitate is expanding exponentially by the day.
