Originally from the Midwest, Bob Larkin moved to New York in 1949, where he worked for many years as a portfolio photographer and an actor. Early in his career, he starred in the Carson Davidson Academy Award-winning short film 3rd Ave. El (1955) and was the only actor in Carson Davidson's Academy Award-nominated short, Help! My Snowman's Burning Down (1965). He subsequently appeared in the Robert Downey Sr. underground classic, Putney Swope (1969). Among his notable Broadway appearances are "The Front Page" with Robert Ryan and "The Great White Hope" with James Earl Jones. Larkin left New York in 1974 to tour with Dorothy Lamour in the roadshow production of Noël Coward's "Fallen Angels" and with Gig Young in "Harvey". Other stage performances include "A Conflict of Interest" at the A.C.T. in Seattle, Eric Bentley's "Are You Now or Have You Ever Been?" at the Hollywood Centre Theatre, "In the Matter of J. Robert Oppenheimer" at the Goodman in Chicago and with Alan Alda in the Paramus, New Jersey, production of "LUV". Now residing in Los Angeles, Larkin has amassed an equally long list of television, studio film and indie film credits over the years. He is represented by Herb Tannen. Hide
